With most sites in the city only a short walk from each other, many places were passed multiple times each day. Western locations, such as cafés and beer halls, were then all the rage in Japan and often employed young fashionable women as headliners.

Her attire here is inspired by a real meisen weave kimono from the Kiryuu Masako collection, which is featured in an exposition at the Yayoi Museum.
